Recommended Action

That the City Council authorize the City Attorney, on behalf of the City Clerk, to initiate a declaratory relief action or other appropriate action to determine whether a referendum petition against Resolution No. 18-085 (approving a General Plan amendment for the Vallco Town Center Specific Plan Project) substantially complies with Elections Code requirements. The City Council will also receive a memorandum from the City Attorney regarding the status of this and the three other referendum petitions protesting Vallco Town Center Specific Plan Project.
