Recommended Action

Award a construction contract for the Sports Center Seismic Retrofit Project and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract in the amount of $776,777 with Calstate Construction, Inc. (CCI); and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute any necessary change orders up to a 15% construction contingency amount of $116,516, for a total authorized contract amount of $893,293. The recommended award amount includes the base bid plus $142,000 for Additive Alternates 1 through 3.
